Blood test results HELP!!!?
Friday, March 2nd, 2012High protein, low urea, low chol, low trigs & low random glucose?
Sorry, i should have elaborated higher than normal protein, lower than normal urea, lower than normal cholesterol and trigs, from what i can gather so far this indicates that im not breaking down protein, urea is what is produced by the liver after protein breakdown, also i have not felt well for a while now, weight loss, stop of mensus, extreme fatigue, anxiety, depression, confusion etc etc
The doctor that ordered these is a weirdo, and to be honest i am just so sick of dealing with them im hesitating trying to find another to discuss this with, my doctor wouldnt even give me the results, i had to pay for them and get a copy from the pathology!!! Anyway doesnt matter, im alive so all cant be that bad, was just curious as i couldnt find much info on the net
Our Dog has diabeties. Why is his blood sugar sky high in the morning?
Friday, March 2nd, 2012Nyles is 12 years old. He was recently diagnosed with Diabeties. He eats twice a day. Once at 8am then again at 8pm. We were giving him insulin shots at 30 mins after food but we found his blood sugar went too high so we started giving the shots with food. So he has dinner (pal dog food in a can) and a shot of insulin (0.6 of a half cc) (what ever that is) and then in the morning his blood sugar is so high that our blood sugar meter cant even read it. (it cant read above 33). Why does it go so high. He gets dehydrated badly when this happens and drinks and pees alot. Does anyone know why this is happening?
